BOULDER, Colo. — Tickets for the 2027 Sundance Film Festival go on sale Thursday, Oct. 15. The largest independent film festival in the U.S. will make its Colorado debut Jan. 21-31, 2027, after 45 years in Park City, Utah.

Ticket packages start at $275 for students and attendees 18-25 years old and cost up to $7,500 for unlimited access, available only to donors. Select ticket packages will cost up to 25% more than last year, though some prices have not changed. Ticket packages are transferable and can be used by multiple people at the same screening, according to Sundance.

Individual screening tickets — which cost $37 for adults or $15 for students and attendees 18-25 years old (less than the average cost of a movie ticket nationally) — will go on sale Jan. 8.

If you’re interested in attending screenings for free, the application to volunteer at Sundance closes Oct. 30.
